Women's Rugby League 🏉
England played the Australian Jillaroos on Saturday in Las Vegas's Allegiant Stadium. The teams made history as the first professional women sports teams to play at this impressive venue in 'Sin City'. The England team played with grit and determination as the two RL powerhouses clashed, as England's prop Vicky Whitfield suffered personally, stretchered off unconscious after a run in with Aussie Sarah Togatuki. Get well soon Vicky! Final score was 90-4 to Australia as the Antipodeans dominated throughout. Read the 2021 interview with England's Amy Hardcastle here. Women's football ⚽
In the last week, Scotland and England have been involved in Nations League games. Scotland lost to Holland 2-1, but England beat Spain 1-0. That was the first time the two had met since the 2023 World Cup Final and that Spain had played since Rubiales was found guilty of kissing Jenni Hermoso without consent at the World Cup presentation. Here's to them moving on and showing up with their best at this year's Euros.
Tennis 🎾
The Indian Wells tournament begins Wed 5 March. Brits Katie Boulter, Jodie Burrage, Sonay Kartal and Emma Radacanu will be representing the UK. Good luck to them all!
