F1 Academy First Thrilling Race of the Season!

I have been following the F1 Academy races at the Shanghai Grand Prix, and I couldn't wait to share all the excitement with you!

First of all, we need to go over the F1 Academy points system which works in a similar way to Formula 1. The winner of each race earns 25 points, second place gets 18 points, third place 15 points, and so on, down to 1 point for finishing in 10th place. Drivers can also earn bonus points: two points for the fastest lap (if they finish within the top 10). This system makes every position count and keeps the championship battle close throughout the season

The Shanghai International Circuit was buzzing with energy as these incredible women took to the track for two thrilling races.

In the first race, Alisha Palmowski from Campos Racing demonstrated her determination and skill. She won the first race of the whole season, earning 25 crucial points, while her teammate Chloe Chambers picked up 18 points for finishing second, just 0.206 seconds behind! Maya Weug from MP Motorsport earned 15 points for third place.

The second race was won by Doriane Pin from PREMA Racing. Starting from the front row, she took the lead early and maintained it throughout, crossing the finish line with a comfortable margin and earning the full 25 points. Maya Weug continued her impressive form, securing 18 points for second place, while Chloe Chambers demonstrated consistency by claiming 15 points for third.

With the points system in play, even a single strong race can change the leaderboard completely, making every weekend a must-watch!

The next race takes us to the fast and challenging street circuit of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia from April 18-20. Keep an eye on Doriane Pin, as she's currently leading the standings and will be eager to extend her advantage. However, Maya Weug and Chloe Chambers are both fighting for the top spot, and Alisha Palmowski is also a strong competitor. It's shaping up to be an electrifying season!
